Your card. Your privacy. Your control.

Take control of how you pay online. Cipharo is exploring a smarter, more private way to manage virtual cards, protect your payment details, and stay in control of every transaction.

Concept stage: no accounts, cards, or sign-ups yet.

Concept preview · Not a real card Illustration of two Cipharo virtual cards: one locked to a single store, one for online shopping, with a monthly spending limit and a freeze switch.

The problem

Your card details shouldn't be everywhere.

Most online payments still run on one reusable card number. Every checkout, subscription, and free trial can keep a copy, often long after you've moved on.

  • Saved in more places than you'd think

Stores, apps, and services can each keep your card on file.

  • Hard to take back

Removing it means tracking down every account you've ever paid.

  • One leak reaches everywhere

If one place is breached, the number you use everywhere else is exposed too.

Today: one card number, shared with every merchant you pay.

The concept

One account. More control. Less exposure.

Cipharo is exploring a simple idea: keep your real card details to yourself, and give every merchant a card of its own. Create them, limit them, and switch them off, all from one place.

Being explored. Not available yet.

Exploring

Virtual cards

A different card for different purchases, so one leak doesn't follow you everywhere.

Exploring

Spending limits

Decide how much can be charged, per purchase or per month. Anything above it is declined.

Exploring

Subscription control

Keep recurring payments visible and manageable, with one card per service you can pause on its own.

Exploring

Privacy by design

Built around collecting less, not more. Ask only for what's needed, and explain why.

Also exploring
  • Merchant-locked cards
  • Disposable cards
  • Freeze, pause, or close instantly

Everything on this page is a concept being explored, not a service on offer. Card features depend on financial partners that aren't in place yet.

Our philosophy

Privacy isn't a premium feature. It's the foundation.

Paying online shouldn't mean handing out the keys. Yet the usual way to pay asks you to share the same details again and again, with almost everyone.

We believe your financial information belongs to you. So Cipharo is being designed to share less, collect less, and keep you in charge of every card.

We won't promise perfect anonymity or zero fraud. No one honestly can. What we can do is be clear about what Cipharo does, what it doesn't, and where it stands.

  1. Transparency

Plain language about what we collect, why, and who sees it.

  2. You decide

Create, limit, freeze, or close. The controls stay in your hands.

  3. Collect less

If it isn't needed, don't ask for it. Once it's no longer needed, don't keep it.

  4. Expose less

Merchants get a card made for them, not the one behind it.

Coming soon

A more private way to pay is taking shape.

Cipharo is currently in early development. We're exploring what's possible and building toward a future where people have more control over their online payments.
